fabullage Beta Privacy Notice

This notice explains how fabullage processes personal data during the private beta. It is part of the conditions for accessing the service.

Data and purposes

We process your sign-in email address, your name and the account identifier your identity provider gives us, your account information, the drawings you upload and the ballooned sheets and inspection workbooks produced from them, in order to provide, secure and support fabullage. We also record which version of our terms and of this notice you accepted, and when.

A sign-in lasts 90 days and is held as a session token on the device you signed in from; signing out deletes it. A project is retained while you use it and purged 90 days after it was last opened; you may delete a project, and everything produced from it, at any time. Account records are retained while you use the service. A longer period may apply where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not use your drawings to train models, ours or anyone else's.

Recipients

Drawings and deliverables are stored in Microsoft Azure, France Central. The text of a drawing, and images of the parts of a page that are not text, are sent to Google, whose Gemini models produce the reading; Google processes that data as our model provider, under its own terms. On the fabullage desktop application the drawings stay on your machine and only what the model has to see is sent, through our servers, to the model.

Usage measurements — counts and timings, with none of the drawing's content in them — are sent to our analytics provider PostHog, on its European infrastructure. For Faber's own accounts (@faber.ai) a full record of a run, the images included, is sent there instead; for every other account it is measurements only. Faber does not sell files or share them for advertising or prospecting.
